Ferus Hotel - Rothenburg

Ferus is a great stop for travelers, being close to the bus station. We loved the cozy bar with tasty cocktails that helped us unwind. It's perfect for a quick getaway when driving through europe.

The stay was superb. Original and cool hotel, nice staff, thoroughly enjoyed the magnificent location just next door to a beautiful Switzerland. Views of the distant mountains were decent, the room was neat and beautiful.

Ventilation in the room lacked adequate airflow was good. Traffic noise from the front disrupted any chance of fresh air. The bathroom was cramped, barely allowing space to move, and the overall upkeep seemed a bit lacking with odd smells permeating the environment. Breakfast options were underwhelming, not matching the hotel's image and price expectations.

The hotel had excellent breakfast and helpful staff. Unfortunately, the rooms felt dated and the price was quite high.

The hotel features a cozy, unique bar with good cocktails that are perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.

During our short transit stay, we loved how relaxing the bar atmosphere was after a long day of driving. We were pleasantly surprised by the good cocktails and the good food on offer. The area nearby was great for a quick stroll with our dog, which added to the appeal. The room was quite small for our family, making it a bit cramped for a longer stay.

The staff welcomed me warmly and made sure I had everything I needed. The dining experience was a highlight, with delicious meals at their onsite restaurant. I appreciated the clean room with good facilities like heating, tea and coffee options. The location was convenient, just a quick bus ride to the city center. The mattress was uncomfortable, which disrupted my sleep a bit. The room tended to warm up. A lighter alternative could improve comfort significantly.
